We are really excited to announce our latest fitness challenge that we will be rolling out for the month of January to coincide with our Nutrition Challenge! This challenge was developed with our courageous triathletes in mind. During the month of January, you will be competing with your team to log as many calories as possible on both the rower and the assault bike. Here’s the fun part, we’re having a good old fashioned battle of the sexes!
We will be tracking individual scores so that we can take the average per team in case one team is larger. The team with the highest average calories will get each of their team members names entered to spin the wheel to win one of the exciting prizes listed. In addition, the individual on each team with the highest total will get their names entered for a chance to spin the wheel. If there is a tie for first place, we will have an awesome tiebreaker challenge ready!
In order for ALL of your calories to count, you must log the same amount on the rower and the bike, but how and when you complete the calories is totally up to you. This means that if by the end of the month you complete 1000 calories on the rower and only 900 calories on the bike, then you only get credit for 1800 calories (900 from each). This is so that each individual completes work on both pieces of equipment. If you would like to participate, but are physically unable to perform one of these movements, speak with a Coach to help you come up with a scaling option.
