Hero WOD Friday 12-22-17

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:

Christmas Day: CLOSED

New Year’s Day: CLOSED

In the U.S., more than 18,000 cases of childhood cancer are diagnosed each year. Child cancer survival rates have increased from less than 20% when St Jude opened to almost 80% today. “Hope” is performed in support of all the children and their families who are fighting every day. During this holiday season, if you would like to donate to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital mission to find cures for children with cancer and other deadly diseases through research and treatment, please visit https://www.stjude.org

St. Jude is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment not covered by insurance. No family ever pays St. Jude for the care their child receives.

“Hope” has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of “rotate,” the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.
