Together with one of the Top 10 Spartan Race Trainers in the world, Coach Rich from Mountain Strength CrossFit, we’ve created the perfect program to prepare you for your race.

SciCoh OCR is a 6 week program designed specifically to prepare you for an Obstacle Course Race like a Spartan, Tough Mudder, Warrior Dash, and more. It focuses on building the strength, endurance, and obstacle skills needed to conquer any obstacle.

We’ll practice things like trail running, climbing, spear throwing, obstacle immunity, mental toughness and how to avoid doing burpees!

Whether this is your first or fifth race, your experience and skill level don’t matter – we will adapt everything to your individual abilities.

Most importantly, this program is about building the confidence to conquer the race and having fun while you do it.

what is this program designed to do?

Our OCR training program is designed to help you build the skills, strength, and endurance necessary to excel on race day!

Build a foundation of strength needed to fight through many of the obstacles.

Develop the endurance to attack the last obstacle as effectively as the first.

Master OCR skills like throwing spears, climbing walls, and traversing monkey bars.

Develop strategies to seamlessly move through and between obstacles.


6 Week session

March 30th - May 16th
(No Classes April Vacation Week)
Mondays & Wednesdays | 6:30PM - 7:30PM
Saturdays | 8:00AM - 9:00AM
  • 3 - 60 Minute Classes Per Week
  • 2 Days of in Gym Training
  • 1 Day Outside on Trails & Hills
  • OCR Specific Before/After Testing

how does it work?

Step 1:
OCR Intro
Our journey together starts with a simple 5 minute call (or in person meeting if you'd like) to answer your questions and ensure this is the right fit for you. There's no pressure.
6 weeks of workouts
3 days a week for 6 weeks, you'll enjoy 1 hour classes created to work on the specific strength, endurance, and skills needed to crush that next obstacle course race! All abilities are welcome.
testing & retesting
We don't want you to THINK you are ready, we want you to KNOW you are! We've designed some basic tests to complete at the beginning, middle, and end of our program to track your improvement. 
support & accountability
Every racer's journey is a little different. They start from different places, have different goals, and struggle with different areas. We keep it small so our coaches can work with you as an individual to ensure you succeed.

How Long Are Your Sessions?

Our classes are an hour. Each includes a full warm up, workout, and a cool down, which makes them easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Who is SciCoh OCR for?

SciCoh OCR is for anyone interested in doing the best they can at their next obstacle course race. Athletic or not, experienced or not, we have a place for you if you are truly ready to make a change.

But what If I am REALLY out of shape and super nervous?

Trust me when I tell you, you’ll be totally fine. We've trained athletes of all abilities including ones with disabilities. We will be able to adapt it to your ability level, I promise.

I have an injury. Can I still do the program?

In short, yes. Our program is scalable meaning we can work around old injuries, tight muscles, and creaky joints. We've even worked with adaptive athletes!

What if I can’t make it every day to train?

That's ok! Life happens, but try to make as many of the classes as you can to see best results.
