Ever wonder who the very first CrossFit SciCoh member was? Here she is…the amazing Carrie, who has been laughing and smiling since day one!
1. Tell us a little about yourself?
I am a single hockey mom to two amazing teenage boys age 16 and 14. Most weekends you can find me either at a hockey rink or lacrosse field. I am a sales executive for a home infusion company in Boston. In my spare time (which is rare) I love to go to the beach and travel.

2. Tell us your CrossFit story (where were you before SciCoh and where are you now?)
Before Crossfit, I had tried different gyms but eventually would get bored. I signed up for the mom ramp program at Bare Cove last October and loved it! I was thrilled when Mike told me they were opening a location in Cohasset. I signed up immediately and was their first member!

3. What does being part of the SciCoh community mean to you?
I love being part of the SciCoh community. The people and Coaches are amazing. Everyone is so friendly and we encourage each other to challenge ourselves. It has been fun getting to know new people.
4. What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am amazed at how much stronger I have become since starting Crossfit. My kids cannot believe some of the workouts that we do. I am getting better at double unders and I am becoming more confident in all the workouts. I no longer check the website the night before to check the WOD!
5. What are your challenges and goals going forward?
Weight loss and mastering the HSPU.
6. What is one thing CrossFit has taught you about yourself?
Crossfit has given me more strength and confidence to overcome all the challenges life throws at you.
