Hi! I’m Mike LeJeune, owner of CrossFit SciCoh.

4 years ago my 65 yr old mother lost 100+ lbs.  I was proud of her but one thing bothered me…she routinely fell a few times a year because her balance wasn’t where it should be.

To that point she had been lucky.  A couple of bumps and bruises, but nothing serious and no hospital visits.

But it’s no secret what a fall can do to us as we age…and that wasn’t going to happen on my watch.

I convinced my mother to sign-up for CrossFit.  She worked with a coach on building the balance, strength, and heart health necessary to combat the “typical” signs of aging.

She’s kept with it for 4 years, and you know how many times she has fallen since? 0. None. Zilch!

I truly believe that CrossFit has already give me more quality years with my mother.  And it’s for that reason that I created our SciCoh Legends program.

Scicoh Legends is designed specifically for those folks that are 60 years of age and older.  It focuses on building the balance, strength, and heart health necessary to extend and enjoy a quality life.  

And the best part? It’s with other 60+yr. old legends so workout hour feels a lot like social hour! 

It doesn’t matter if it’s been decades since you’ve seen the inside of a gym, we will adapt everything to your individual abilities.

To be honest, I’m more passionate about this program than any other one that we run because this truly changes and extends lives.  It’s about making sure you can walk, sit, and stand without assistance.  It’s about keeping the heart healthy so it beats for years to come.  

Most importantly, it’s about spending time with and being there for your loved ones as long as you can.

How Long Are Your Sessions?

Our classes are an hour. Each includes a full warm up, workout, and a cool down, which makes them easy to fit into a busy schedule.

Who is SciCoh Legends for?

SciCoh Legends is for anyone 60 or older that wants to make a change. Athletic or not, we have a place for you if you are truly ready to make a change.

But what If I am REALLY out of shape and super nervous?

Trust me when I tell you, you’ll be totally fine. We've trained athletes of all abilities including ones with disabilities. We will be able to adapt it to your ability level, I promise.

I have an injury. Can I still do the program?

In short, yes. CrossFit is scalable meaning we can work around old injuries, tight muscles, and creaky joints. We've even worked with adaptive athletes!

What if I can’t make it every day to train?

That's ok! As long as you can get your money's worth.
