A program designed for the gymnastics athlete.
Strength. Explosiveness. Flexibility.

Our gymnastics prep program is designed specifically for gymnasts.

In this program we focus on developing 3 things.

1. Strength

Strength is a necessity for the successful gymnast.  The better the overall strength, the greater the ability to execute and/or hold higher skilled movements.  In our 3 weeks, we use a variety of age appropriate techniques to build total body strength needed by gymnasts.

2. Explosiveness

Strength is important to a gymnast, but the ability to explosively use that strength is critical. Explosiveness can make or break floor routines, vault, and every other event.  For almost 8 years, we’ve used dynamic training techniques with our youth athletes that have proven to quickly improve their explosiveness.

3. Flexibility

While strength and explosiveness are important to executing different gymnastics skills, they only matter if the athlete actually has the ability to get in the proper position.  In other words, without the flexibility to get in the right position, the strength doesn’t matter.  Each class we have dedicated time to work on our athletes’ flexibility to enable better movement.

what are the details?

our covid-19 safety protocols

We strictly adhere to the protocols set out by the CDC and the state/local Boards of Health.  These protocols are as follows.

  1. We clean and disinfect the entire gym and all equipment both before and after class.
  2.  All coaches and athletes must enter the gym with mask on and have temperature taken with touchless thermometer. If anyone has a temperature at or above 100.4 they will be sent home.
  3. All athletes wash hands upon entry and then proceed to their own designated, marked off area, that is 14 feet away from other work stations.
  4. Once an athlete is at his/her station, they may remove masks and clean equipment as a precaution.
  5. If an athlete ever leaves his/her station, they must put mask back on and maintain 6 feet from any other athlete.
  6. When class is over, he/she will clean their equipment, put their mask on, wash hands, and exit the building.

We take safety very seriously and have obtained the approval of the Cohasset Board of Health. If you have any questions whatsoever, please contact us at [email protected]

Do You Work With Athletes?

Absolutely. We've trained youth athletes of all sports and have even worked with several collegiate and pro athletes. Sometimes personal or semi-private training is best depending on their goals and current progress. Reach out to us and we are happy to assess!

I have an injury. Can I still do the program?

In short, yes. CrossFit is scalable meaning we can work around old injuries, tight muscles, and creaky joints. We've even worked with adaptive athletes!
