Erin MacDonald

I grew up in Braintree, MA and have always been active. I played youth sports like soccer, basketball and softball, then in high school I ran cross country and winter and spring track for Braintree High School. As an adult, I got married and had children and became a stay at home mom. I needed something to help me lose the weight and get back in shape, so I tried P90x. I really liked it, but my motivation to workout in my house started to fall off. I couldn’t find anything that would hold my attention and I was never consistent with my diet and working out. Fast forward a few years later and I went to a CrossFit competition to see a friend compete and I was hooked. I got excited even just being a spectator.

I started CrossFit in November of 2013. It kicked my butt and I was hooked. The community and positive encouragement was contagious. I had so many amazing coaches who inspired me to coach myself. I got my L1 in March, 2016 and I absolutely love helping people and seeing their progress with movements and workouts. There is no better feeling than seeing an athlete complete a movement or workout that they doubted themselves on. I plan to constantly better myself and pass that on to all the athletes I work with.
